No Good Deed 03:24
I saw their lights blinking off the road a couple of kids only half-grown I knew that the Christian thing was to lend them a hand so I stepped on my brake and got out of my van "oh thank you sir it's so nice to see such a friendly face in such a dark place you can take us wherever you'd like to go we are on the road we're just on the road" the girl was young, the prettiest thing she had a smile that could make you sing I saw the boy shift in his seat I didn't like how he looked at me "alright sir, that's far enough we'll be going on all you have is coming with us get out of the seat and shut the fuck up I am not afraid not afraid to use this gun" I saw their lights vanish down the road in my chest a bullet found home I wonder if God will ever make them pay and why he decided to take me today

he's waiting for me points in my veins are comforting burning black I bleed as my skin is opening wrapped in my shell the sharpened sheen soon its will takes over me euphoric cells in conjoining soon I'll feel sweet nothing he's waiting for me I'm all dressed in pink covered scars I'll never show hope these wings will make me float wrapped in my shell the sharpened sheen soon its will takes over me euphoric cells in conjoining soon I'll feel sweet nothing he'll find me he'll find me he'll find me or he'll find my skin

about

Drawing its title from the months in which the songs were composed, March/April/May is a collection of five stories of murder, theft, longing and despair. Taking a bare bones, lo-fi approach to songwriting, each song is meant to stand as a story of its own, connected to common themes. Combining somber, narrative lyricism with morbid folk music, March/April/May is set to appeal to fans of both traditional storytelling folk as well as contemporary dark music.
